Where we serve

Based in Wausau, routing siding work across Marathon County and north-central Wisconsin. Outside the area on the map? Call anyway — we'll route you to a closer crew or tell you honestly whether the drive pencils out.

Primary base

Wausau, WI — where we operate from

We are based in Wausau itself, the Marathon County seat in north-central Wisconsin. Much of the work is on the older housing stock — homes built from the 1950s through the 2000s, with some older — where decades of deep winters and freeze-thaw have faded, cracked, or worked water in behind the siding.

Common Wausau-area properties we route: single-family homes and rural acreage on aging vinyl, wood, or aluminum cladding, with cracked or warped panels, soft fascia and soffit from ice dams, and walls where the flashing was never right. Each one changes the scope — a vinyl or fiber cement re-side, a targeted repair, or soffit and fascia work at the eaves. We fix the wall before the panel, every time.

Field notes

What each town teaches us

Local context — the age of the housing, the exposure, the ice and snow load — changes the scope and the timing. Knowing yours is half the job.

Weston, WI

Just southeast of Wausau and squarely on our route, Weston is one of the larger surrounding communities, with a deep base of homes built from the 1960s onward. Many are due for a first or second re-side, and the common call is faded or cracking vinyl, or a homeowner weighing vinyl against fiber cement before committing. The harsh winters here make the wall behind the panel — flashing and house wrap — worth getting right.

Rothschild, WI

A village south of Wausau along the Wisconsin River, Rothschild mixes older homes with newer subdivisions. The work skews to re-sides on the older stock and repairs after a hard winter or a wind event. Ice-dam damage to soffit and fascia comes up often here, given the cold and the snow load.

Mosinee, WI

A small city southwest of Wausau, Mosinee runs from in-town homes to rural acreage. Distance is the main variable on the outlying properties, not the work — vinyl and fiber cement re-sides, repairs, and soffit and fascia work are the same. Older homes and a cold-continental winter make wall correction and good flashing the recurring theme.

Schofield, WI

A compact city wedged between Wausau and the river, Schofield has a dense base of older homes, many on their original or first-replacement siding. Re-sides and repairs are the steady work, and the tight lots mean access is a factor we sort out on the phone. Freeze-thaw and ice at the eaves drive a lot of the fascia and soffit calls.

Rib Mountain, WI

On the west side of the Wausau area near the landmark ridge, Rib Mountain skews newer and includes exposed, higher-elevation homes that catch wind and weather. The work leans toward considered re-sides and storm or wind repair, with fiber cement a frequent choice on the more exposed walls. Cold and snow load make the eave details matter here.

Outside the radius?

Call anyway

For homes farther out into the smaller north-central Wisconsin communities, we still take some of those jobs. Whether the drive makes sense depends on the work and whether we already have a crew heading that direction. Call and describe the house — we'll either route a crew or point you to a local one we trust. No commission either way.

Property managers & landlords

Multi-property coverage

If you manage rentals or a portfolio of homes across Wausau or Marathon County, the cleanest setup is one contractor handling the re-sides, repairs, and eave work across every property — so no wall gets ignored until water is inside. Mention it on the call and we'll put together a plan.
